Default Redondo and Palos Verdes lobsters 10/5

I met up with Chris at my boat in Redondo at about 5pm. Since we had a few hours of daylight we decided to fish a bit. I put Chris over a rock reef at 200ft and since we did not have bait he was using a Megabait lure. The fishing was slow but Chris did manage to catch a Johnny bass (released)

We move back over the spot and Chris has another fish? Ok its a octopus! LOL

Me and Chris are thinking that will make killer bait but after 15min with no bites Chris unhooks the octopus and releases it.

Here is my daughter Capt Leah driving the boat.

I did my dive first at a 120ft reef and ended up with 6 lobsters and a nice crab.

Chris did his dive in about 45-50ft and ended up with 6 lobsters (sorry no pic)

On the way in I ran into Sammy,Joe and another friend(sorry I didn't catch his name) on there way back from PV in which they scored triple limits of bugs and one that was 7-8lbs

Nice lobsters. Do you ever see WSB's and YT's when you dive off PV? I have heard from other diver friends that the WSB's a really skiddish.

Well the total time on the water counting fishing and diving was 4hrs but as far as diving we did one dive each so about 35-40min underwater.
