Default Dusting off the ol' bow

Gonna take my compound bow in for new string and cables...Any one bow fish???

Is that still legal and if so where do you do it at? I never see fish that you can just shoot a bow at.

Not sure if it's legal, I need check on that...Figure that you could nail sharks pretty steady though.

Also carps tend to sun-bathe

As a kid on Senaca Lake in upstate NY we bow fished for huge carp up to 50lbs. What a hoot!! We would be on the bridge over the chanel or out on a tree branch and shoot the fish as they swam by. I used an old Bear 45lb recurve with a bracket that my dad made to hold a spinning reel on with 50lb line.
Keep us updated as to if it is legal here.

I am almost possitive its illegal for freshwater fish but not sure about saltwater since spearfishing is legal.
