Default Finally a day on the water

Well we got her on the water Saturday for a shakedown.
The boat ran great! We still have a few things to address but nothing major.
She handles great with a smooth ride, we're really happy with her
Dropped her in

Firing her up

Thumbs up here we go

Anchored up at portugese bend

Cheers

We really didn't go out to fish but we brought a couple rods anyways

Deep fried in tempura batter sunday

Here we go again

on it's wat back home

Got our fix on the water and we headed in for the day.
Now it's time to get ready to slay'em

Congrats on your successful maiden voyage!

That bat ray must have been a fun catch but when you first hooked up what did you think you had on the other end of the line?

What were you using for bait?

Thanks for the report and pics!

Thanks Roger
Yeah that ray was a blast it took some good runs on me and completely around the boat. I was thinking it was either another Guitar or a nice butt.
As far as bait the shark was caught on fresh frozen dines and the ray on squid tentacles

So when is the next time you guys are taking the boat out and will it be a Catalina trip or something local again?
