Hi scubapro, cant wait for the date. I love lobster season, it gives me something to look forward to at the end of summer. Im kinda confused though on the sarting dates for commercial vs. recreational. Is it the first wednesday in october for commercial, and sept. 30 for receational? Happy Hoopin! Jp

Hi JP welcome aboard!

I am not sure of the exact date commercials are allowed to start but they start one week after the recreational starts.

Default hoopin fiday night!!!!!

I plan on starting out @ inner breakwall Long Beach. Ill get out there around 10:30. It takes me 30 min to get out of the channel. I have a Question. Say its really good one night and you catch limits can you go back and drop off your catch @ a slipped boat and then go back out for more? Is that legal? Is it ethical? jP
