Question Getting into your suit help

Ok, I know I'm not the only one who seems to have a proplem getting a full suit on/off without looking like I'm wearing a straight jacket. I've seen guys use baby powder to help ease the suit on, does this damage the suit? Do the new suits give a little over time to make it easier? I've only used spring suits in the past or 2 piece suits. Any help or things to use to ease slipping into the suit would be appreciated .

Default Don't grease it up!

One thing is for sure- DO NOT USE VASELINE it breaks down the rubber Also, you'll notice that the suit is easier to pull on when dry SO DONT WET IT for make it easy to pull on
Don't forget- that is made using the new generation superstretch material so it's designed to fit more snug than the older ones yet it remains super flexible and stretchy- id feels like you don't even have a suit on. They made the inner lining more slick so it helps out when trying to put it on

If you have any questions call or go down to Quiksilver HQ- they're in HB (on Graham street) In fact- they have good information on their website quiksilverusa.com good luck

Default Read up my bruddah

By the way, Mark, I just called quik for you and they agreed with everything that I wrote above They recommend that you follow the instructions that are on the warranty card and hang tags that came with your suit Hopefully, you did not throw that stuff away

I figured the don't get it wet thing. I started getting sweaty pulling it on then got stuck. That thing will keep me warm for sure. I got it half way on and felt like I was sitting in death valley.
As for the tags I'll have to ask the wife about where they are. If I can't find them I'll call Quicksilver for the info.

Thanks for the help Randy.

Bring a bottle of shampoo and water, mostly water. If you get stuck you can squirt the solution into the suit, works everytime.

Or go to a dry suit, the henderson is about $500 and you can wear short and a shirt, no more pealin the suit off when your done.

To get your hands and feet in use a ladies nylon. Glides right on for me.. Just put them over your hands, push through and pull off when your hands/feet are in.

Give it a try...

Hey thats a good idea!

Yet another use for panty-hose!

1. Robbing liquor stores
2. Keeping soft biat on hook
3. Getting into wetsuits.

Here's another tip

Lose some of the weight you gained since the last time you put on your suit
