Default Jigs

Home made cheap Jig (from trolling sinkers) someone might want to try ... -$1

We lose so many Jigs (10-12 a Day) to the Oil Rigs here in the Gulf ... I had to do something.

I still use the $10. Jigs but when the fish are biting, these also work for me.

Nice jigs.

Are you making and selling these?

I don't sell the lures Roger .... Just make them for family and friends .... experimenting.

Our top bait over here is flying fish, they only last a matter of seconds when Tuna are biting.

I've found that painting some of the hard lures a midnight metallic blue is deadly!

An ILander ballyhoo or bonito strip is the top bait in the Gulf ... hands down!

what kind of sinkers do you use? They have a taper to them that I've never seen on lead in our area. They look like they'd make some killer wahoo bombs. Thanks for the info, I like to try new things on the water.

Mark, I get the trolling sinkers from a commercial fishing supply store. 5 lb bag - $8.

Here's the place that makes them.
