Default Finally got my new camera!

I bought the Canon S1 IS digital camera so now I have to save up for the underwater housing

Alright Roger, you got the same one as me. If you have any questions let me know. I can help you get the best out of it. Here's a quickie, set your exposure @ under 1/3 (-1/3), the chip inside tends to overexpose shots. I found this works very well for 90% of all shots. The Flash tends to over expose so test it first and reduce power by about 1 stop if your getting blown out highlights. The best way to know is use the histogram in review mode.
If you need more help let me know and I'd be happy to sit down and show you. I've shot over 1000 test shots this year with mine.

nice camera. I have a rebel T2. I would love to find a housing for it but I cant find one anywhere. Any suggestions on where to look?

Hi Jester and welcome aboard

Do a google search with the brand and model camera you have and add the words underwater housing and see what comes up.

When I was looking for a camera to buy I made sure there was a affordable housing for it before I bought the camera.

I am happy to say I made a good choice and the pictures are coming out nice
