Welcome Sispeck!

Do you own an Epic Housing? If so, I would like to see some of your watershots. Thanks.

I shoot video with a Quest Extreme Digital housing and a Sony TR700 camcorder. The reason I knew about the Epic housing was that there was a thread on another board recently discussing their (un)suitability for diving.

Oh ok. Thanks.

In speaking with Lary, I found that the housings are designed to be a rugged, inexpensive model for shallow water use. NOT for deep diving apps. Before the Epic housing, there was no inexpensive solution or shallow water usage.

I'll be taking an Epic with a Sony mini-dv camera to Hawaii this winter. I plan to post some surfing, snorkeling/free diving and maybe underwater rock running footage or photos...

I need to find a good cheap camera to take some surfing pics with. I have a great canon that I can't find a housing for. Any suggestions?
