Correct on all counts. The first shot is with a wider angle so I cropped the photo to show more of the fish but it didn't do justice to it's true size. The second is what it looked like in person. The thing was a hog. When ever you want a good photo of you and your catch always try to fill the frame and hold it out away from you. It'll give you the most impact in the photo.

And I guess the best advise is if your fish is Sooo small that all the camera angle tricks don't work just use photoshop
